PetIQ

Cookie Policy

Last updated: 26 June 2026

This explains the cookies and local storage Pet IQ uses, and how you control them. For the bigger picture, see our Privacy Policy.

1. What we use

“Cookies” here also covers similar technologies like browser local storage. We keep it to a minimum and group them into two kinds:

  • Strictly necessary (always on): a small anonymous identifier that links your in-progress test to you, a sign-in session cookie if you log in, and local-storage entries that save your test progress on your own device. The service can’t work without these, so they don’t require consent.
  • Analytics (optional — only with your consent): PostHog, which helps us understand how the funnel is used (page views, test progress, feature use) so we can improve it. These run only after you accept on the cookie banner.

2. What we don’t use

We don’t use advertising cookies, and we don’t track you across other websites or sell your data. Payments are handled by Stripe, which sets its own cookies needed to process and secure a transaction.

3. Your choices

When analytics is enabled we ask for your consent with a banner — choose Accept or Decline. If you decline (or ignore it), only the strictly-necessary cookies are used. You can change your mind anytime by clearing this site’s cookies and local storage in your browser, and you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.

4. Changes & contact

We’ll post any updates here with a new date. Questions about cookies? Email support@mypetsiq.com.
