About us
About Pet IQ
Pet IQ is a free, gentle test you do with your dog or cat: a set of at-home games and questions that turns what you notice into a playful profile of how your pet thinks.
Who we are
Pet IQ is made by 1000845699 Ontario Inc., a small independent company in Toronto, Canada. We’re not affiliated with any research institution or other pet company.
What the test is, and isn’t
The games are modeled on published animal-cognition research, and you’re the observer. It’s for fun and enrichment: not a clinical test, and not veterinary or behavioral advice. See the science behind it →
How we make money
The test and your pet’s type are free. The full report is a one-time purchase, with no subscription and nothing recurring. Payments are handled by Stripe, so we never see your full card number. We don’t sell personal data.
What we promise
- Gentle games only. Nothing that startles, drops or stresses a pet, ever.
- No shaming. Every result is written warmly; every pet is a wonderful companion.
- Honest results. Nothing is random: the same answers always give the same result.
- Photos are always optional.
